I am looking forward to beautiful beaches and and wonderful holiday. Please would value responses. It was pretty filthy and you do see prostitutes I was in Chaweng a year ago and although it is hectic and built up it certainly didn't strike me as being filthy and as for prostitutes, if there were any I didn't notice them! Chaweng is brilliant, you can have it as quite or lively as you like.
The Amari Palm Reef is a beautiful hotel set in a quieter area of Chaweng. You will have a brilliant time. The main strip is not so nice lookswise - very busy and noisy - but the flipside is there are lots of shops, restaurants and bars to choose from. The beach is beautiful - powdery white sand. There are quite a lot of girly bars but they seemed to be mostly down the side streets sois so avoidable.
